Zimmer Biomet Holdings Shares Fall More Than 2% Even as Q2 Tops Views

Zimmer Biomet Holdings Inc. (ZBH) shares fell more than 2% in trading Thursday after reporting mixed results for Q2. For Q2 Zimmer Biomet posted EPS of $1.59 a share, excluding items, on revenue of $1.17 billion. Analysts, according to the Capital IQ consensus estimate, had expected Zimmer Biomet to weigh in with EPS of $1.56 a share and revenue of $1.15 billion.

Looking out to the remainder of the year Zimmer Biomet expect EPS of $6.65 to $6.80 a share. The analyst consensus stands at $6.71 a share for the full-year. Recently shares were down on volume of 1.3 million shares. Average daily volume is 1.2 million shares.
